Master of Commerce (with specialisations) Applicants are required to have an undergraduate degree from a recognised Australian tertiary institution (or equivalent). Applicants without a tertiary qualification may be admitted to the Graduate Diploma of Commerce on the basis of professional attainment and/or work experience.   Upon successful completion of the Graduate Diploma, students will then be eligible for admission to the Master of Commerce and receive credit for applicable subjects. Essential requirements for admission Higher CSU English Language Proficiency requirements For International students from non-English-speaking backgrounds: an overall IELTS (or equivalent) score of 7. 5 (with no score below 7 in reading and writing, and a score of no less than 8 in speaking and listening). Demonstrate minimum capability in the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) non-academic attribute and motivation requirements for effective teachers. Applicants with higher education study Successful completion of at least two university level subjects (AQF level Associate Degree or higher) demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies. Completed bridging or enabling course Successful completion of a Tertiary Preparation Course from an Australian University or an accredited provider demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies. Applicants with vocational education and training (VET) study A completed AQF Certificate III (or higher) at an accredited provider demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies. 50% completion of an AQF Diploma level qualification at an accredited provider demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies. Applicants with work and life experience Commissioned Officers from Australian Police, Fire, Mercantile Marine, Civil Aviation and Defence Forces (and related) can be admitted on the basis of rank, license, class, length of service and/or competencies achieved. Applicants for the Bachelor of Business (Honours) must meet the following Admission Requirements: * A degree in Business or any double or combined degree from an Australian or approved overseas university that includes a major study in Business and demonstrated a credit Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies. English Language Proficiency Minimum CSU English Language Proficiency Requirements apply.

Admission to this course is open to those people who can demonstrate a genuine connection with fire services or an occupational requirement to study this area. Applicants must also have: 1) an undergraduate degree; or 2) a minimum of five years experience in the field of fire services or a related area, as determined by the Course Director.

For entry to this course students must hold a bachelors degree in nursing (or equivalent) and be registered to practice. Some experience in the emergency health field is recommended. Intending students should also be aware that in order to undertake the practicum subjects they will be required to comply with the risk management policies and procedures of the host ambulance authority. Students must be able to attend a 5 day residential school associated with the subject CLS412 Introduction to Internship.  Applicants should submit transcripts and verified copies of awards from prior study, as well as a CV outlining their experience in the emergency health field.

Students entering this course will need to meet the following criteria: - AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse - Contract with an approved, participating hospital as a student midwife for the duration of the courseApplication processRegistered nurses wishing to undertake this course to become registered midwives must have employment as a midwifery student in one of CSU's partnering maternity services. Application processes differ depending on where you wish to undertake your midwifery practice placement. If you wish to be employed as a midwifery student in a NSW public hospital, you must apply via the NSW Health website in the year prior to which you wish to enrol. The application process is through MidStART and information is available online. The MidStART information book is available online each year. Follow the instructions to select both the maternity service (public hospital) where you wish to undertake your midwifery practice, and indicate that you wish to study through CSU. Should you wish to undertake your midwifery practice in a private or interstate hospital, you need to contact the midwifery facilitator in that unit. Note: An intake in Session 3 is open only to students who are already registered midwives. Closing datesApplication closing dates will be determined in relation to hospital acceptance notifications. However, you are required to submit your application for enrolment to CSU online at the same time that you apply through MidStART (or through the hospital, if you are applying interstate or at a private hospital). CSU will keep your application on hold until you notify the university that your MidStART or hospital application has been successful. Master of Marketing For entry to the Master of Marketing, applicants are required to have an undergraduate degree from a recognised Australian tertiary institution (or equivalent) and appropriate work experience. Applicants without a tertiary qualification may be admitted to the Graduate Certificate in Marketing on the basis of professional attainment and/or work experience. Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate, students will be eligible for admission to the Master of Marketing and receive credit for applicable subjects. Graduate Certificate in Marketing Applicants without a tertiary qualification may be admitted to the Graduate Certificate in Marketing on the basis of professional attainment and/or work experience. Graduate Diploma of Ornithology A completed Bachelors Degree (or Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) equivalent) in a relevant discipline related to Ornithology from a recognised University or other tertiary education provider. OR Completed Graduate Certificate in Ornithology OR Relevant industry or professional Ornithology experience of at least five years, demonstrated by a detailed resume. Master of Paramedicine (with specialisations) Students must have completed a 3 year undergraduate degree in paramedicine. Admission in this course can be directly at the Master level or follow from the completion of the Graduate Diploma of Paramedicine (with specialisations). Graduate Diploma of Paramedicine (with specialisations) Students must have completed a 3 year undergraduate degree in paramedicine. Applicants with extensive industry experience and practicing as intensive care paramedics will also be eligible to enter the course. Admission in this course can be directly at the Graduate Diploma level or follow from the completion of the Graduate Certificate in Paramedicine (with specialisations). Graduate Certificate in Paramedicine (with specialisations) Students must have completed a 3 year undergraduate degree in paramedicine. Applicants with extensive industry experience and practicing as intensive care paramedics will also be eligible to enter the course.
