Master of Professional Accounting Master of Professional Accounting (12 subjects) For entry to the Master of Professional Accounting (12 subjects) applicants are required to have an undergraduate degree from a recognised Australian tertiary institution (or equivalent). The undergraduate degree must be in a field other than Accounting, or not recognised by the Australian Accounting professional bodies for associate membership. Applicants without a tertiary qualification may be admitted to the Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting or Graduate Diploma of Accounting on the basis of professional attainment and/or work experience. Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate of Professional Accounting/Graduate Diploma of Accounting, students will then be eligible for admission to the Master of Professional Accounting (16 subjects) and receive credit for applicable subjects. Master of Professional Accounting (16 subjects) For entry to the Master of Professional Accounting (16 subjects) applicants who do not have an undergraduate degree from a recognised Australian tertiary institution (or equivalent) will be considered for admission via the Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting or Graduate Diploma of Accounting on the basis of professional attainment and/or work experience. Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate/Graduate Diploma, students will then be eligible for admission to the Master of Professional Accounting (16 subjects) and receive credit for applicable subjects. Graduate Diploma of Accounting Applicants will normally be required to have an undergraduate degree from a recognised Australian tertiary institution or a qualification deemed to be equivalent. However applicants with other academic and/or professional qualifications acceptable to the University will be considered. Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting Applicants without a tertiary qualification may be admitted to the Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting on the basis of professional attainment and/or work experience. Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate, students will then be eligible for admission to the Master of Professional Accounting and receive credit for applicable subjects.

Master of Health Services Management An undergraduate degree or eligible AHPRA registration where the current standard is a bachelor pass degree and 2 years of experience in the health services industry. Graduate Diploma of Health Services Management An undergraduate degree or eligible AHPRA registration where the current standard is a bachelor pass degree and 2 years of experience in the health services industry. Graduate Certificate in Leading Change (Health Services) An undergraduate degree or eligible AHPRA registration where the current standard is a bachelor pass degree and 2 years of experience in the health services industry. Graduate Certificate in Health Services Management An undergraduate degree or eligible AHPRA registration where the current standard is a bachelor pass degree and 2 years of experience in the health services industry.

Graduate Diploma of Mathematics For entry to the Graduate Diploma in Mathematics applicants are required to have completed an undergraduate degree or a teaching qualification. Applicants must also have studied, within the last 10 years, a high school mathematics subject that includes calculus (for example HSC Mathematics or VCE Mathematical Methods. HSC General Mathematics or equivalent is not sufficient), OR have completed a university level mathematics subject which includes calculus (such as MTH105) which is deemed by the Course Coordinator to be equivalent. Students who attempt the subject EPT442 will need to undergo a police check. Graduate Certificate in Mathematics Applicants without a tertiary qualification may be admitted to the Graduate Certificate in Mathematics on the basis of professional attainment and/or work experience in a scientific or quantitative environment. Applicants must also have studied, within the last 10 years, a high school mathematics subject that includes calculus (for example HSC Mathematics or VCE Mathematical Methods. HSC General Mathematics or equivalent is not sufficient), OR have completed a university level mathematics subject which includes calculus (such as MTH105) which is deemed by the course coordinator to be equivalent.

Master of Animal Science For admission a candidate shall: hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor qualification with a major in a relevant discipline*; or hold an AQF Level 8 Graduate Diploma qualification in a relevant discipline*. *Relevant disciplines include, but are not restricted to General Science; Animal or Veterinary Sciences, Agricultural Science or  Biomedical Science.

Master of Sustainable Agriculture A completed Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline from a University or other tertiary education provider. OR A completed Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Agriculture from a University or other tertiary education provider (or equivalent). OR A completed Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Agriculture from a University or other tertiary education provider (or equivalent). OR Relevant Industry experience from the agricultural/business sector of at least 2 years or equivalent knowledge gained through alternate means. AND Minimum CSU English Language Proficiency requirements apply.  Graduate Diploma of Sustainable Agriculture A completed Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline from a University or other tertiary education provider. Bachelor of Nursing A completed High School Certificate (or equivalent), with an ATAR of at least 70, inclusive of any eligible adjustment factors. OR Prior university study i. e. successful completion of two or more university level subjects (AQF Associate Degree level or higher), demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies. OR A completed AQF Diploma studied at a TAFE, Registered Training Organisation (RTO) or University - or equivalent OR Partial completion of an AQF Diploma, of at least 50%, studied at a TAFE, Registered Training Organisation (RTO) or University - or equivalent. OR A completed AQF Certificate IV studied at a TAFE, Registered Training Organisation (RTO) or University - or equivalent OR A completed Tertiary Preparation Certificate from an Australian university (or equivalent), demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Overall Grade Average or Score achieved. OR A completed Vocational Education and Training (VET) Certificate IV undertaken from 2008 in Enrolled/Division 2 Nursing (or equivalent) and AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse. OR A completed Vocational Education and Training (VET) Certificate IV undertaken prior to 2008 in Enrolled/Division 2 Nursing (or equivalent) and AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse. OR A completed Vocational Education and Training (VET) Diploma in Enrolled/Division 2 Nursing (or equivalent) and AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse. OR A completed Vocational Education and Training (VET) Advanced Certificate in Enrolled/Division 2 Nursing (or equivalent) and AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse. OR A completed Vocational Education and Training (VET) Advanced Diploma in Enrolled/Division 2 Nursing (or equivalent) and AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse. OR A completed Hospital Certificate in Enrolled/Division 2 Nursing (or equivalent) and AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse. AND Was born in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom, USA or South Africa and have completed at least one qualification  taught and assessed in English in one of these countries. OR Have successful secondary or tertiary studies of no less than 5 years full time equivalent in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom, USA or South Africa and have completed at least one qualification taught and assessed in English in one of these countries. OR An Academic IELTS with a minimum overall score of 7. 0 with no score below 7 in each of the individual skill areas or a qualification deemed equivalent (see CSU ELP Concordance Tables). Graduate Diploma of Clinical Practice (Paramedic) For entry to this course students must hold a bachelors degree in nursing (or equivalent) and be registered to practice. Some experience in the emergency health field is recommended. Intending students should also be aware that in order to undertake the practicum subjects they will be required to comply with the risk management policies and procedures of the host ambulance authority. Students must be able to attend a 5 day residential school associated with the subject CLS412 Introduction to Internship.

A completed High School Certificate with an ATAR of 80 (including adjustment factors) or equivalent. OR Successful completion of two University level subjects (AQF level Associate Degree or higher) demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies. OR A completed AQF Diploma level qualification or higher level qualification. OR A completed Tertiary Preparation Course from an Australian University or an accredited provider demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies. AND English language requirements apply. An Academic IELTS of 7. 0 with no score below a 6. 5 in each of the individual skill areas or a qualification deemed equivalent. NOTE Successful applicants who do not have an appropriate high school chemistry background are strongly recommended to undertake the chemistry subject offered in the University's StudyLink program prior to commencing study in the course.

Applicants for the Master of Education (Teacher Librarianship) must meet the following requirements: A minimum of a Bachelor of Education (or AQF equivalent); or    A Bachelor’s degree (or AQF equivalent) from an approved tertiary institution with an end-on integrated professional teaching qualification (such as a Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, or Bachelor of Teaching Secondary) AND STANDARD English Language Proficiency requirements. The Research Advisory Committee (RAC) of the University holds the delegated authority to approval for admission to a research higher degree program. Doctor of Veterinary Studies Basis of Approval for Admission to the Doctor of Veterinary Studies The RAC shall base its decision on admission to a proposed Doctor of Veterinary Studies candidature upon the following evidence, that: * the  proposed  area of research  falls  within  an  approved University  field  of  research  for  admission  to  a higher degree by research; * the proposed supervisors are sufficiently expert in the area of research, and have the time and commitment to be able to provide appropriate supervision, and that adequate physical resources are available; * the applicant has the background and ability to undertake the proposed course (refer also to Entry Qualifications, below); * the applicant has given the necessary commitment to work regularly on the approved program of study and research and maintain regular contact with the supervisor(s). For admission to the Doctor of Veterinary Studies, applicants would need to demonstrate that they: * Have a veterinary science degree with class 1 or class 2(i) honours which enables candidates to be registered by the Veterinary Practitioners Board of New South Wales or equivalent academic and/or research experience, and * Have a minimum of 1 year of veterinary professional experience. Applicants with a first language other than English must satisfy Charles Sturt University’s normal requirements for language competency.
