Purpose of the Position

The purpose of a Junior IT Consultant works under the leadership of a Project Manager, Senior IT Consultant & Coach. A Junior IT will review a client's internal procedures, mechanisms or policies, and he ensures these procedures are adequate and functional. A Junior IT Consultant also ensures that corporate procedures comply with industry standards, top management's directives, human resources policies and regulatory guidelines

Responsibilities & Duties

• Implementation of the Avaloq Banking System
• Writing technical and business specifications
• Parameterising and customising various business modules
• Enhancing overall concepts
• Evaluating business impacts
• Training end-users

Academic & Trade Qualifications

Essential Desirable

• University degree or equivalent in Engineering, Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent
• Masters or Honours in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
• Practical knowledge of relational databases
• Practical knowledge of the database Oracle
• Practical knowledge & experience in programming
